Fereidoun Farzaneh was the son of Ismail Farzaneh (Iranian diplomat and ambassador) and Fatemeh Sheikh. He completed his studies at the Music Conservatory in Brussels, Belgium, before returning to Iran. After retirement, he moved to Spa, Belgium.
