Royal is born with music and he grew up with music. He says: ''My Father is a musician and he knows everything about Persian music. He plays the ' Tonbak ' (also called ' Zarb ' ) and he has worked with a lot of huge singers in the Persian scene like Hayedeh (R.I.P.), Amir Shamloo, Abbas Ghaderi, Majid Moghadam and many more. Everytime he played on stage I was sitting on his instrument you know, I grew up with Sonnati music.''
