In 1986 he moved to Hamburg (Germany) & stayed there until 1993, & then one year in England. He started music in 1989 (1368). It was in Hamburg at the age of 20 when he got his first bass. Three weeks after his first experience with the instrument, He joined a high school band. Eventually, he gathered experience while playing & performing with local Hard Rock & Heavy Metal bands. In 1991, he co-founded the band Trial & Error along with Uli Schulz & Dirk Wolf on guitar & vocals & Karsten Nogel on drums.
